Teleportation Spell

A massive teleportation spell that makes Pixie a key asset to X-Men missions.

The Teleportation Spell is a massive teleportation spell that makes Pixie a key asset to various X-Men missions and teams and places her as one of the titles' primary magic users. Her main use of magic is this teleportation spell, which she uses to transport herself and others across vast distances. The spell is hazardous when cast without proper concentration, as seen when she panics and cannot teleport her team out until Rictor helps her concentrate, resulting in a 'blind teleport' that scatters the X-Men between Washington, D.C., and the Xavier Institute.

Lore & Background

Pixie's teleportation spell is her primary magical ability, gained after Magik took part of her soul in an attempt to create a Soulsword. The spell allows her to move herself and others across great distances instantly. However, it requires intense concentration; without it, the spell becomes hazardous. During the 'Messiah Complex' storyline, Pixie panics while outnumbered by Purifiers and cannot teleport her team out until Rictor helps her concentrate. She then manages to cast a 'blind teleport', which scatters the X-Men between Washington, D.C., and the Xavier Institute. Later, when Predator X attacks the Institute, Pixie attempts to teleport the creature to X-23's location but mistakenly takes the majority of the students and Beast alongside her and the creature, dropping them in the middle of the X-Men's fight on Muir Island. During the 'X-Men: Schism' event, Pixie has been teleporting various teams of X-Men around the world to combat Sentinels. She injures her hands during one fight and can no longer teleport, explaining that without painkillers it hurts too much to concentrate, and with them she cannot think straight enough.
